About Us
With the 10-year anniversary of HopeDance magazine, we are proud to announce that HopeDance now has its own virtual server – geekspeak for a chunk of hardware that more adequately handles our growing website and 20-some community email lists. We have teamed with Virtual Tribes to offer Internet and web services to the Central Coast progressive community: email, listservs, domain names, hosting, PC-to-Mac conversion help, and custom Joomla! websites.
With the growing incidence of censorship and privacy violations now experienced on the Internet, HopeDance.net provides a refuge from the scary world of big corporate email and Internet service providers. Reports continue to come in of Big Brother blocking reception of emails. This is simply not acceptable in a free society. With an email address @hopedance.net, you are at least assured that your email provider will not prevent you from receiving legitimate emails.
The folks at HopeDance and Virtual Tribes are community activists who have become the media, both in terms of print and cyberspace. We are committed to embracing and promoting sustainability, renewable energy, appropriate transportation, social justice, community empowerment, Earth care of all kinds, and truth in media.
When you partner with us, you become part of a global transformation.
